Piano Lessons
Kenton’s Lesson Studio provides personalized piano lessons for students of all ages in the Nanaimo area and online. Lessons focus on developing solid technique, musical understanding, repertoire, and personal creativity. Whether you’re returning to piano as an adult, exploring music for the first time, or looking to deepen your existing skills, instruction is tailored to your goals, pace, and preferred musical style.
Studio Environment
Lessons take place in a comfortable, welcoming studio space. The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging, helping students feel confident as they develop their musicianship. Online students receive clear camera angles, shared lesson notes, and digital resources to support effective learning from home.

Lesson lengths: 30 minutes ($45) or 60 minutes ($75)
In-person lessons in Nanaimo
Online lessons available for students outside the area (via Google Meet — no membership required)
Frequency: Weekly recommended; biweekly scheduling may be accommodated on a limited basis
Teaching approach: Supportive, goal-based, and adaptable to each student’s learning style
Materials: Method books, repertoire collections, lead sheets, creative exercises, and personalized resources focused on essential piano technique
