Kenton’s Lesson Studio is a polished way of saying private lessons with me, Kenton (aka Kenni), in a dedicated space for practising, learning, and creating music. I’m here to help you discover your voice, build confidence, and make music an even more meaningful part of your life.

Whether you want to strengthen your chord voicings, prepare for university auditions, explore improvisation, write original music or arrangements, or you are a complete beginner, I will meet you where you are and help you grow from there. Your lessons will be thoughtfully tailored to your individual goals, interests, and learning style.

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Jazz Composition (dual degree) from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, with a minor in classical conducting. I teach piano, saxophone, flute, and voice (including solfège for ear training), as well as composition and arranging (in a wide range of styles), and conducting basics. These are my core areas of focus, and I aim to support both musical development and the challenge of making space for practice within a full, busy life.

Students are welcome to share recordings or ask questions via email or text messages between lessons. For piano students, I may also record short videos during lessons so you can easily reference the keyboard while practising at home.
